For my 40th birthday I am answering some questions that were submitted on Facebook by friends and family. I loved filming this because I get to answer questions from people that have known me most of my life as well as more recently, and it gave me an opportunity to open up about my experiences, feelings, paintings and disability awareness . Back at the hospital and I'm having a radioactive "dye" injected into my spine to be certain I'm able to receive the SMA drug Spinraza. I'm also discussing the potential implications of the medicine and reflecting on living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
